Competition – March 15-16, 2024
The Qlathe BBQ Championship is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society.
This is a State Championship.
Teams will be judged in chicken, pork ribs, pork, and beef brisket for a chance to win a portion of the $10,000 prize purse.
Note – Event may fill before Entry Deadline.
Registration to the 2024 Qlathe BBQ Championship includes:
20 ft. x 40 ft. team stall
One 20-amp circuit
One commemorative shirt
One commemorative pin
Entry Fees
Per Entry Fee – $250.00
Prize Money – $10,000.00
Overall Prizes
Grand Champion – $1,500.00
Reserve Champion – $750.00
3rd Place Overall – $550.00
Category Prizes – Prizes will be awarded for places 1-10 in the categories of Chicken, Pork Ribs, Pork and Brisket. The prize money will be distributed as follows for each of the four categories:
1st Place – $500.00
2nd Place – $400.00
3rd Place – $300.00
4th Place – $200.00
5th Place – $150.00
6th-10th Place – $50.00
