Overview – There is something every engineer has in common, no matter what type of engineer they are, who they are or where they live. Do you have any idea what this is? I’ll give you a guess. Give up? They all eat food!

Given that engineers need to eat to survive, we thought it would be fun to have a contest that applies principles of engineering to the kitchen. This can mean inventing new kitchen gadgets, doing engineering experiments with food, or otherwise applying principles of engineering in ways appropriate to the kitchen.

Requirements – Entries to this contest must:
– Demonstrate a use of engineering in a manner somehow related to the kitchen.
