Assignment – It’s time to unleash your inner creativity and give us something you have been wanting to create for Doritos. Legioners, we are giving you the green light to create whatever your heart desires – we are talking memes, recipe videos, social media trends, anything and everything! Make us laugh, make us cry, make us feel something! The best part is that this brief will remain open throughout the year and you have unlimited entries.
Objective – The Doritos team is looking for evergreen social content featuring Doritos. You have full creative freedom on what direction to take your submissions, as long as Doritos is involved, we are happy. Think about what stops your own thumb when you’re scrolling on social media and apply that to what you create. We want clear branding (if a bag is in the shot, make sure the logo is not cut off), Doritos awesomeness, and oh, no claims about the product.
Thought Starters & Watchouts
1. The following are some of our top performing social content: Memes, Fake Products, Recipe Videos, Relevant social media trends, and skit-style TikTok content. You can access packaging, logos, chips, and other assets under our attachements tab.
2. Avoid the use of any AI (Artificial Intelligence), children, fire, and animals.
3. Make sure to include all proper trademarks. For example, “DORITOS®” or “DORITOS® COOL RANCH®”.
4. Legioners can submit to this brief anytime throughout the year. There will be 5 rounds of winners, each containing 2 finalists. See below for our finalist announcement schedule:
— Round 1 ends June 7th | Winner Announced by June 21st
— Round 2 ends July 19th | Winner Announced by August 2nd
— Round 3 ends August 30th | Winner Announced by September 13th
— Round 4 ends October 11th | Winner Announced by October 25th
— Round 5 ends November 22nd | Winner Announced by December 6th
