Competition – July 28-29, 2023

This is a State Championship.

The first Smokin’ On The Route BBQ Cook-Off is a fully sanctioned national event with the Kansas City Barbeque Society. The competition is part of the larger Rt. 66 Heritage Festival in downtown Miami, OK, providing a plethora of opportunities for food and refreshments, live music and shopping in a family friendly, casual and fun atmosphere.

Competition categories include chicken, pork ribs, pork and beef brisket. In addition to competing for prizes in each category, teams will also vie for the title of Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion.
