General Information
Competition – October 1-2, 2022
Team Minimums – 20 per Masters Contest.
All contests are sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society, whose rules apply to the four main Masters entries of Chicken, Pork Ribs, Pork and Beef Brisket, and also to the Master of Ribs entries.
Only charcoal, wood or wood pellets may be used as cooking fuels
Entry Fees
Per Entry Fee – $335.00/Masters BBQ Contest (includes all 4 main categories, Saturday night campground lodging)
Trophies will be awarded to Grand, Reserve Grand, and 1st through 3rd for the (4) main categories; certificates
awarded to 4th and 5th.
Payouts are as follows:
– 20 teams = $3,000.00 to 6th place per category
– 25 teams = $4,000.00 to 8th place
– 30 teams = $5,000.00 to 8th place
– 35 teams = $6,000.00 to 10th place
– 40 teams = $7,000.00 to 10th place
– 45+ teams = $8,000.00 to 12th place
