Judging – June 11, 2022
This is an OSHBOTY (Oregon State Homebrewer of the Year) certified event.
Heart of Cascadia began in 2013 as a style competition focused on “Cascadian Dark Ale” and “Northwest Red Ale” – two styles who have taken root in the Pacific Northwest. Now we have expanded to all IPA styles, all the styles in the 2021 guidelines, newer styles defined by commercial trends, and any specialty IPAs you can dream up.
If it is recognizable as an IPA in its hopping and overall character we will judge it.

Entry bottles accepted at drop-off locations from Monday, May 16, 2022 9:00 AM, PDT through Friday, June 3, 2022 4:00 PM, PDT.
The awards ceremony will take place once judging is completed.
Places will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each table.
The 1st place entry in each table will advance to the Best of Show (BOS) round with a single, overall Best of Show beer selected.
Additional prizes may be awarded to those winners present at the awards ceremony at the discretion of the competition organizers.
