Judging – January 15-16, 2022
AFWC’s “The Invitational” wine judging, now beginning its’ 15th year, is the most prestigious of all wine competitions in the U.S. In order to participate, wineries must be invited.
The AFWC began in 2007 as “The American Fine Wine Competition”, and has evolved to “The Invitational”. Since the inception, AFWC has added two additional judging’s, “All Americas” and “THE Rose”. The goal of “The Invitational” is to seek out the finest wines produced in the United States.
To participate, wines must be vetted and then personally invited by one of the AFWC Acquisition team. Judges include 32 of the finest palates in the country and abroad.
This competition is by INVITATION ONLY.

The wines will be accepted now through January 7th.
Three (3) bottles of each participating wine required, one should be signed by Winemaker or Vintner.
A fourth (4th) bottle is encouraged for promotion at events attended by suppliers, distributors, wine buyers, and enthusiasts.
Both medals (bronze, silver, gold and double gold) and points (based on a 100-point scale) are awarded.
