Virtual Competition for 2021!

This competition is intended to encourage photographers to explore the beauty of sheep and other wool producing animals, and the versatility of wool and related products. ALL photos must be related to these subjects and must have been completed since the 2019 festival.

This competition is open to ALL photographers. Photos will be judged on composition and quality.

Please email your photos to Roxanne Dean, roxydean@verizon.net. Entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday, April 17. Photos must be submitted in .jpeg or .jpg format and be at least 2,000 pixels wide. Be sure to include the division and class in your file name (e.g., AdultClass1.jpg, JuniorClass8.jpg) and to include your name and address in the body of the email.

Adult Division – Color or Black & White
1. Portraits – People with sheep, single sheep/head, or whole sheep
2. Lambs
3. Landscapes/Flocks of Sheep
4. Still Life – Inanimate objects (i.e. yarn, shears, spinning wheel, etc.)
5. Sheep & Wool Related Activities
6. Stable Scenes
7. Computer Generated Photo Art*
*Must be generated from a photograph.

Junior Division (age 16 years and under) – Color or Black & White
8. Any subject
