Assignment – What if we told you Doritos® was thinking about dropping some records? Oh, and you’re the label producing it. How would you design the cover art? What would you do to take Doritos® music to another level? Let’s get this masterpiece to platinum with epically disruptive visuals for the IG feed. If you can do that, then there may be some $$$ for you at the end of this recording sesh.
Objective – Really what the Doritos® team is looking for is creative content that references music/hip-hop in a visually appealing way.
Content should be: Authentically engaging, no need to scream “look at me”. Evergreen, meaning it could be shared tomorrow or next month. Boldly innovative – take a risk and make something no other label has done. Product-centric visuals where Doritos® is the hero.
We want clear branding (if a bag is in the shot, make sure the logo is not cut off). Don’t make any claims about the product. Be sure not to reference artists or potentially infringe on their ownership rights, but obvious parody is OK. If you use any music, it must be original or licensed. We reserve the right to remove the music from winning content to avoid any music rights concerns.
Deliverables – Deliverable(s): Stills that can live on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Images must be submitted as .jpg or .png, videos must be submitted as .mp4, and file size must not exceed 100 MB.
Must match platform specs: Instagram/Facebook – 1:1 or 4:5 | TikTok – 9:16
Creative expectations: Content should match the guidelines laid out in the Legion Handbook (i.e., make sure colors, fonts and brand tone match), where you can also find the latest bag images.
