We select a prestigious panel of national judges and Colorado wine professionals consisting of Master Sommelier’s, Wine Directors, F&B Directors, Wine Journalists, and Retailers.
Our goal is to create a well-rounded panel of experts that taste wines “double-blind” and achieve the fairest scoring results possible. We separate wines in as many as six different price points for our popular varietal categories to keep the judging results honest. We accept wines in as many as 160 categories, including International entries as well as canned wines.

Winners receive handsome die-cast medals and valuable media exposure in our nationally distributed press announcements. Best of Show winners also receive a laser engraved barrel head with their winning wine and logo.
