The Invitational began in 2007 as “The American Fine Wine Competition”. The name has twice evolved, becoming The American Fine Wine Invitational, and now, “The Invitational”. The goal of The Invitational is to seek out only the finest wines produced in the United States. To participate, wines must be vetted and then personally invited by one of the AFWC Acquisition team. Judges include 32 of the finest palates in the country. The Invitational has become the most influential and elite wine judging in the country. Both medals (bronze, silver, gold and double gold) and points based on a 100-point scale are awarded.This competition is by INVITATION ONLY.

Three (3) bottles of each participating wine required, one should be signed by Winemaker or Vintner.
A fourth (4th) bottle is encouraged for promotion at events attended by suppliers, distributors, wine buyers, and enthusiasts.
The wines will be accepted from 03/01/2021 – 05/17/2021.
