Entry Deadline: April 17, 2021
Categories: Beer Competitions
2021 Amber Waves of Grain
Venue / Location

Buffalo, NY

General Information

All entry fees must be paid in full at or before the time the entry is shipped or dropped off.

Each entry will consist of capped or corked bottles that are void of all identifying information, including labels and embossing. Printed caps are allowed, but must be blacked out completely.

10-12oz brown glass bottles are required for beer.  Clear glass is acceptable for meads/ciders.  Corked/caged entries are acceptable for highly carbonated styles.

*** IMPORTANT 2021 UPDATE ***
Cans will not be accepted in 2021.  We have accepted cans in the past because we’ve had stewards able to pour the entries out of view of the judges.  This year with no stewards, judges are pouring their own entries and judging together via Zoom, so we just can’t provide this level of anonymity.  We expect to be back to our previous rules in 2022.

Bottles will not be returned to contest entrants.

All requisite paperwork must be submitted with each entry and can be printed directly from this website. Entry paperwork should be attached to bottles by rubber band – no tape or glue.

Please fill out the online entry forms completely. Be meticulous about noting any special ingredients that must be specified per the 2015 BJCP Style Guidelines. Failure to note such ingredients may impact the judges’ scoring of your entry.
