General Information
The 2020 Kona Brewfest Rocket Rod Home Brew Competition is just around the corner!
Homebrewers: Get your entries ready. We will have special prizes for Best of Show & First Place Beers, Ciders and Meads.
The entry period will start on Saturday, January 18 and close on Sunday, March 1. The 2015 BJCP Style Guidelines will be employed for the judging.
The Kona Coast Barley Boys are hosting this AHA/BJCP sanctioned competition. The Homebrew Competition will take place on March 12 and 13 and the winners will be announced at the Kona Brewers Festival on March 14. The winners will also be posted on the Kona Home Brew Competition website.
The Kona Brewers Festival and Homebrew Competition are fund raisers for the Ke Kai Ala Foundation, raising $1,300,000 over the last 24 years for Hawaii Island non-profit charities supporting Hawaii’s environment youth, and culture.
