General Information
Number of Bottles Required Per Entry: 2
Each entry will consist of two (2) 12 to 22 ounce capped bottles or corked bottles that are void of all identifying information, including labels and embossing (other than the entry label affixed with a rubber band). Printed caps are allowed, but must be blacked out completely.
12oz brown glass bottles are preferred; however, green and clear glass will be accepted. Swing top bottles will likewise be accepted as well as corked bottles.

Entry bottles accepted at our drop-off locations from Saturday, February 15, 2020 12:00 AM, EST through Friday, March 20, 2020 12:00 PM, EDT.
Results will be posted to the competition web site after judging is finished and all scores are entered into the system.
The awards ceremony will take place at the April DC Homebrewers meeting (tentatively scheduled for 04/23).
Medals and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category plus 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Best Of Show round. Any entries awarded an “honorable mention” will not be awarded any medals or prizes.
Score sheets will generally be available for download from the website a few days after the event. Due to situations beyond our control, it may take a bit longer. We ask for your patience. If you haven’t seen your score sheets on the website by April 04, then please contact us – NOT BEFORE THEN. Thanks…
Medals and prizes will be awarded at the April DC Homebrewers Club meeting. Non-members are invited to attend to claim their medals and prizes. Those who cannot attend the meeting will be contacted to determine if they can be picked up at a local homebrew shop. If this is not possible, medals and prizes will be mailed.
