General Information

Entrants, Please Take Note! Registration Begins December 1, 2019 All entries must be Belgian- or French-inspired beers. If a beer is entered into a subcategory that is not specificially Belgian- or French-inspired as defined by the BJCP 2015 Style Guidelines, you must provide further information as to why the entry is Belgian- or French-inspired (e.g., yeast selection, Belgian or French base style, etc.). This applies especially to any entry in BJCP 2015 style categories 27 through 31, 33, and 34 – SHV, Wood-Aged Beer, Historical Beer, Brett Beer, Experimental Beer, etc. If a beer entered into these categories does not specifiy the Belgian- or French-inspiration, base style, and/or if supporting information is insufficient, the entry will be judged, but it will be disqualified from medal contention. Prizes / Awards / Medals / Ribbons

AWARDS The awards ceremony will take place following lunch and once judging is completed. Places will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each judging table. Medals and prizes are yet to be determined. Additional prizes may be awarded to those winners present at the awards ceremony at the discretion of RHBC. 2020 GABF Pro-Ams Entires that advance to the Best of Show (BOS) round are available for selection by a professional brewery to be brewed as their entry into the 2020 Great American Beer Festival Pro-Am Competition. The following are participating Bière de Rock pro-am breweries: Bruz Beers (Denver, CO) Rockyard American Grill and Brewing Company (Castle Rock, CO) The Peak Brewing Company (Winter Park, CO) Please note: The Pro-Am opportunity is only open to current AHA members. The homebrewer brewing their recipe with the professional brewery CANNOT be, or have ever been, an employee of that brewery or on the brewing staff, which includes employees involved in the brewing process (i.e. brewer, lab technician, cellar crew) at any brewery.
