General Information
Winterbrew is an annual, BJCP sanctioned homebrew competition!
The competition was established in 2011 and is open to entries from all homebrewers in all BJCP recognized styles.
Empirical is hosting the judging this year and have some fun plans for GABF Pro-AM collaborations with the BOS winner(s).

Entry bottles accepted at our shipping location from Saturday, November 24, 2018 11:00 AM, CST through Friday, December 28, 2018 5:00 PM, CST.

Packing and Shipping:
Carefully pack your entries in a sturdy box. Line the inside of your carton with a plastic trash bag. Partition and pack each bottle with adequate packaging material. Please do not over pack!
Write clearly: Fragile. This Side Up. on the package. Please only use bubble wrap as your packing material.
Enclose each of your bottle labels in a small zip-top bag before attaching to their respective bottles. This way it makes it possible for the organizer to identify specifically which entry has broken if there is damage during shipment.
Best Of Show will be awarded using a standard BJCP panel style of juding.
Empirical Brewing will select three(not including sour or Brett-based) beers that make it to the BOS round for a chance to brew a collaboration with them for GABF 2019.
Empirical will brew the 3 beers on their pilot system and run a people’s choice competition at the brewery to determine which beer they would like to brew for GABF. Sours and brett beers are not eligible due to brewery constraints. Also beers with hard to source/expensive ingredients, if chosen may have their recipe modified.
