The prestigious Melbourne cup BBQ Turf Wars is back. Will a home grown hero take out the Melbourne cup or will it be an interstate raider?

With the landscape changed at the venue so we can accomodate up to 50 teams along the home straight there will be a first paid policy to spots closest to the hand in area. Being on the home straight on Melbourne cup day also gives the opportunity for you to promote your meat, rubs, sauces suppliers with signage in your pit area on the national stage on the biggest race day of the year being shown around Australia in every TAB and home on the television.

Sanctioned by KCBS the winner will receive entry into the American Royal and a bung into the draw for the Jack Daniels invitational.

The event will be held at the Cranbourne racecourse on the first Tuesday of November on Melbourne cup day the 5th of November. There will be food vendors, children’s activities and horse racing at the track, along with a big screen to watch the Melbourne cup.
