AWARDS:
Best of Show judging will take place on October 25th and gift certificates of the following values will be awarded to the top finishers:
– $240.00 BOS first place
– $120.00 BOS second place
– $60.00 BOS third place
– $100.00 BOS cider / mead category

Winners will be announced at the Brew Oahu “Brew Camp” event which will be held November 2nd at HomeBrew in Paradise. Brew Camp events will include:
– 12 noon: Learn to Brew demo
– 1 pm: Chili Contest. Bring homemade chili and a chance to win a $100 gift certificate!
– 2 pm: Commercial Brewer presentation
– 3 pm: Winners announced
– 4 pm: Homebrew Club presentation
Winners need not be present. All gift certificates are kindly contributed by local brewers. Support local breweries, drink local beer!

Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category. Note: some categories may be combined at the organizer’s discretion.

Entries deemed suitable will advance to the Best of Show (BOS) round with a single, overall Best of Show beer selected. Generally these will be the first place entries in each category, however the judges reserve the right to advance second and third place entries as well.

Both score sheets and awards will be available for pick up at Homebrew in Paradise after the ceremony concludes. Awards and score sheets not picked up will be mailed back to participants. Results will be posted to the competition web site after the ceremony concludes.
