The Amador County Fair Wine Competition is the only competition exclusively featuring wines from the Sierra Foothills AVA. With over 600 entries each year, the competition showcases world-renown wines and varietals.

Wines must be produced from The Sierra Foothills AVA including the following counties:
Amador
Calaveras
El Dorado
Mariposa
Nevada
Placer
Tuolumne
Yuba
Must be stated on the commercial label.

Please do not use the appellation options “California, xxxx” and please use “Shenandoah Valley, Amador County” for Shenandoah Valley wines.
