Our Story – Our mission is to offer each of our guests an inviting and fun atmosphere where they can “Relax and Reflect” while enjoying our high quality, affordable, hand crafted wines, surrounded by the natural beauty of our vineyards and unsurpassed service of our staff! 

Ladoga Ridge Winery is a family-owned and operated winery and vineyards operation.

Longtime Smithville residents Galen and Leinda Haddock invested much thought, time and hard physical labor to develop this business – literally, from the ground up.

From planting the grapevines, meeting state and federal requirements, and perfecting the labels for each bottle of wine, to staining pergolas, putting the finishing touches on the warm and welcoming tasting room, and working with area merchants to fill the gift shop with local wares, the Haddocks have pressed forward toward their dream. The couple says they could not have done it without the help of their children, Bryant, Melissa and Brittany, and the support of a few close friends.

Smithville is the perfect location for Ladoga Ridge Winery. It is a community rich with history, a community proud of its heritage, where residents and merchants are inspired by the past, and committed to the future.

Once you enter the gates of Ladoga Ridge Winery, you will quickly forget you are still inside city limits.
