Half Moon Bay Distillery is a small craft distillery, located on the coast of the Pacific Ocean in scenic Half Moon Bay, California. We provide locally produced ultra-premium spirits to people who care about where their drinks come from and who made them.

We are committed to producing the highest quality, hand-crafted distilled spirits in small batches. We believe that the fully automated processes of large liquor conglomerates can never duplicate the heart and soul that goes into spirits which have been produced with the human touch of a master distiller who knows his or her craft. Vodka – Half Moon Bay Vodka is an ultra-premium, small batch vodka, distilled and bottled by an artisan craft distillery on the California coast. This flagship product of Half Moon Bay Distillery may well be the finest vodka produced by California’s blossoming craft distillery movement. Distilled from 100% grain, this unusual vodka is crafted from wheat with just a touch of malted barley, which gives it its exceptionally smooth and silky. Bottled at 40% (80proof), our vodka is one of the finest examples of true craft distilling.

Gin – Half Moon Bay Gin is an elegant and refined craft spirit, distilled in small batches. HMB Gin is bottled at full bar strength, which means that it is 90 proof (45% alcohol), yet it tastes remarkably smooth.  

We have created a custom blend of 12 botanicals to give HMB Gin its distinctive flavor profile. The intriguing botanical notes are extracted through the gentle process of vapor distillation. This allows all of the individual aromas to shine. In addition to the typical juniper notes, you will discover complex citrus flavors and warm spice components. Our exceptional gin is elegant enough for sipping straight, but its unique blend of flavors will also take your favorite cocktails to a new level of sophistication.
