Entry Deadline:
The San Francisco International Wine Competition (SFIWC), founded in 1980, set the gold standard for professional wine evaluation, pioneering the rigorous blind judging process that The Tasting Alliance upholds across all its competitions.
As the flagship event in our portfolio, SFIWC has provided wineries with a prestigious platform for global recognition, establishing a benchmark for quality and excellence.
JUDGING CRITERIA
– Awards are granted on a merit basis, recognizing only those who meet the highest standards of quality.
– Each entry is carefully evaluated by our expert judges within a peer group of similar products, ensuring a fair and rigorous assessment. However, the Managing Director may adjust category placements as needed based on the number of entries.
SHIPPING FROM WITHIN THE U.S.A:
The Competition will send entrants an email in August when we start accepting deliveries. DO NOT send your product until August.
SHIPPING INFORMATION FROM OUTSIDE THE U.S.A:
If you are using your U.S. importer, they should follow the above instructions for domestic shipping. If you are NOT using a U.S. importer, you MUST contact our import partner, Park Street Imports LLC, to avoid shipping delays.
