On the 1st of every month, there is a new Sally’s Baking Challenge.
During the month, bake the assigned recipe or the alternate recipe.

Light as air, crisp on the outside, and soft and marshmallowy inside, this homemade meringue roulade is a true showstopper. Bake a billowy meringue until just set, then roll it with lightly sweet vanilla cream.
