The first Ocean State Homebrew Competition was held in 2011 to provide expert judging and feedback for the homebrewers of Rhode Island and the surrounding areas.
In the years since, it grew to a multi-day competition with hundreds of entries from across the country and beyond, becoming one of the largest competitions in the region.

Only 2 bottles/cans are required per entry. Single-can/bottle entries will be accepted but are not eligible for Best of Show.
First, Second, and Third Place Awards will be given in all judged categories, or as deemed appropriate by the judges.
There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Best of Show award for Beers, 1st place Best of Show for Cider, and 1st place Best of Show for Mead.
All awards consist of high-quality custom OSHC gold, silver and bronze medals.
