General Information
Requires an original main-course recipe built from a set list of non-perishable ingredients.
Three (3) contestants will be selected by Protective Services to compete in the 2026 Disaster Chef Challenge at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
The following guidelines will be used to judge recipes in either or both preliminary and final rounds: 1. Creativity
2. Taste
3. Presentation
Grand Prize (1)
– To be titled “Memorial University’s 2026 Disaster Chef” who will receive an Emergency Crank Radio and a Memorial Experience Package.
Runner-Up (2)
– Each receives an emergency crank radio.
