Entry Deadline:
Overview – Sensors help our projects see, hear, feel, and react to the world around them and we want to see what you can build with them. For the Instructables Sensors Contest, we’re celebrating projects that use electronic sensors of any kind, from temperature, humidity, and light sensors to motion, proximity, pressure, sound, or beyond. If your project gathers data or responds to its environment using a sensor, it’s a perfect fit.
All skill levels are welcome, whether you’re just getting started with electronics or building something more advanced. Sensors are a great way to explore how hardware and software work together, turning real-world input into meaningful action. They can be used to monitor environmental conditions, detect movement or presence, measure physical changes, or trigger responses in interactive systems. From simple circuits that react to light or touch to complex projects that collect and analyze data over time, sensors open the door to smarter, more responsive creations.
We can’t wait to see what your projects can sense, detect, and bring to life.
Requirements – Create a tutorial that uses electronic sensors of any kind. It can use just one type or many.
