General Information
Overview – Step back in time and build something that tells a story. The Making History Contest invites you to create a project inspired by any moment in the past. Recreate a historical artifact, restore a vintage piece, or design something new using traditional tools and techniques. From ancient engineering and medieval crafts to early industrial machines or late-20th-century tech, every era offers ideas waiting to be remade.
Choose a time period that sparks your curiosity, explore the techniques that defined it, and transform what you learn into something tangible. We’re excited to see how you bring the past into the present.
Judges prizes will be offered for the best projects from these time periods:
– Ancient history (pre-400)
– Middle ages (400 – 1399)
– Renaissance (1400 – 1600)
– Enlightenment (1685 – 1799)
