Overview – In the Make it Float Visual Effects Student Contest, we are challenging you to create a digital scene or animation that illustrates the idea of floating.
Whether you are demonstrating floating on air, through space, underwater, or on the open oceans, we want to see how you can bring the concept of floating to life with your creativity and technical skills. This is your opportunity to showcase your talent in visual effects and animation, and to push the boundaries of what can be achieved in a digital environment.
Looking for entries that are imaginative, visually stunning, technically impressive and has a well-documented process. You can explore concepts such as weightlessness, buoyancy, levitation, or any other interpretation of floating. Your scene or animation can be inspired by real-world physics or take us on a journey through fantastical worlds where the rules of gravity and motion are entirely up to you.

Requirements
– Create an Instructable that shows how you create a digital scene or animation that demonstrates the idea of floating.
– You must be an actively enrolled student and resident of the United States to enter.
