2026 GRiST NoVA Classic Homebrew Competition

Judging – January 23, 2026

The NoVA Classic was started in 2017 — 2020 & 2021 were off years – thanks covid. All money raised in the NoVA Classic (minus expenses to run this competition) go to the John Lyon VFW Post 3150, Arlington, VA.

All entries must be handcrafted products, containing ingredients available to the general public, and made using private equipment by hobbyist brewers.

Each entry will consist of two 12 (preferred) to 22 ounce capped, corked, swing top bottles (brown, green or clear glass). Printed caps are allowed, but must be blacked out completely. Canned beers are accepted without artistic labels.
