2026 Chef’s Roll – Inspired By Kikkoman Chef Competition (Professionals)

The Inspired by Kikkoman Chef Competition is back—with a new challenge.

This year, we’re inviting chefs and culinary professionals across the U.S. to create an original chicken dish that showcases the bold umami flavor and versatility of Kikkoman foodservice products.

Chicken continues to lead menu innovation nationwide, and Kikkoman gives you the tools to take it further. From traditionally brewed soy sauces to craveable sauces, coatings, and flavor foundations, we want to see how you transform a familiar protein into something unforgettable.

Show us how you elevate chicken with Kikkoman—and you could be headed to Japan.

Prior to entry, you are required to register using the form at https://www.chefsroll.com and agree to these terms and conditions. Registration will be open from 9:00 am PT, May 11, 2026 until 11:59pm PT June 3, 2026.

Following the close of registration, 60 registrants will be chosen to advance in the Contest and receive a care package containing product samples and information. The selection process will consider the quality of the registrant’s proposed Contest dish, as well as the ability of the registrant to make or influence purchasing decisions within a foodservice operation. The 60 people selected to advance will become Competitors.
