Judging – May 5-6, 2025

The Cold Climate Wine Awards (CCWA) celebrates, showcases, and promotes wines made from 100% cold climate grapes grown, vinified, and bottled in Canada and the United States and it is the only competition that is dedicated to 100% cold climate grapes with no blending of “warm” or “cool” climate grapes.

The CCWA also offers a blind tasting opportunity for winemakers to taste wines for special recognition as “Winemakers Select”. The CCWA will also consider wines (at no extra cost) for the recently created Cold Climate Wine Indication (CCWI) as a means of recognizing and promoting quality wines made from 100% cold climate grapes.
