Overview – The Farm to Table Contest is all about the journey of homesteading. This is a celebration of all things fresh, home-grown, and straight from nature to your kitchen. This can include gardening for cooking and/or raising animals for food.

Whether you’re cultivating aromatic herbs in a windowsill box, nurturing an abundant vegetable garden, or operating a full-scale homestead, we want to hear your story. Show us how you’re bringing the farm-to-table concept to life, right from sowing the first seed to harvesting ripe produce for your culinary creations.

But that’s not all – we’re equally excited to learn about your experiences with raising livestock. Do you have a flock of chickens providing fresh eggs for your breakfast table? Perhaps you’re raising them for their meat. Maybe you’re a beekeeper, harvesting golden honey, or you have a goat that supplies milk for cheese and yogurt.

We’re keen to hear about your methods, your challenges, and your rewards. Share with us your techniques of animal care, ethical practices, and the innovative ways you’re incorporating these farm-fresh products into your meals. You can share about your experience creating the product that would be used in cooking and/or share your fresh recipes made possible by the farm to table experience.
