Dole® kicks off a nationwide hackathon competition to discover the next inventive canned pineapple snack “hack” by tasking all foodies to think outside the can and finally answer, “Can it Pineapple?” Featuring ingredients from the Dole Canned Pineapple lineup, Dole wants recipe innovators, snack aficionados and fruit fans to reimagine the timeless pantry staple and create the next craveworthy snack. The three-week competition will take over Instagram and TikTok.

Week 1 – Tastes of Nostalgia
Week 2 – Globally Inspired
Week 3 – Simple Bites
Submissions will be judged based on creativity, originality, presentation and theme, featuring a different snacking theme each week!

Step 1 – Get creative and develop an original, on-theme Dole Canned Pineapple snack “hack”.
Step 2 – Share your snack hack recipe with a short video (no longer than :30 seconds!) via TikTok or Instagram.
Step 3 – Use the hashtags #DoleSnackHackathonContest and #CanItPineapple and tag @DoleSunshine to confirm your entry. Be sure to follow @DoleSunshine!
Step 4 – Sit back, relax and snack as our judges review your recipe for that week!
