All oil must be Australian extra virgin olive oil. Oils and olive products are judged on aspects of aroma and palate for oil and taste, texture, flavour profile and visual for olive products.
Medals are determined by the Judges using the following point scale
– Gold medal for outstanding Exhibits gaining 85.00pts and over;
– Silver medal for excellent Exhibits gaining 75.00pts but less than 85.00pts;
– Bronze medal for quality Exhibits gaining 65.00pts but less than 75.00pts.
Championships are determined using the Borda Count Method.
