This competition is a invitational competition, and ONLY open to amateur homebrewers age 21 or older who are active members of any Northern California, Southern Oregon and Western Nevada Homebrew Club.
Entries must receive a minimum score of 30 in order to qualify for a medal.

PUBS will pick up on April 1, 2023
Places will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category, or grouped categories. A beer must score at least a 30 to qualify for an award.
The 1st place entry in each category will advance to the Best of Show (BOS) round with a single, overall Best of Show beer selected.
Best of Show – A Monk’s Cellar brew session where you will be able to brew your winning recipe!
Note:
1. It may be necessary to substitute recipe ingredients with similar ingredients due to lack of availability.
2. Some styles may be difficult to brew at this location (barrel aged sours for example). If this is the case you will be able to brew a style that both you and Monk’s Cellar can agree on.
