Approximately 35,000 fans are estimated to convene on the corner of Surf and Stillwell avenues in Coney Island to watch the Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog-Eating Contest in person. Millions more watch the ESPN telecast of the contest.

Kissimmee, FL will host a sanctioned Nathan’s Famous hot dog-eating contest on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 to qualify contestants who will compete in the 2023 Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog-Eating Contest.

This year’s contest will return to the iconic Nathan’s Famous flagship restaurant at the corner of Surf and Stillwell avenues in Coney Island.
