Competition – May 5-6, 2023
THE KANSAS CITY BARBEQUE SOCIETY (KCBS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and enjoying barbeque, is the world’s largest organization of barbeque and grilling enthusiasts with over 20,000 members worldwide.
Entry Fees
Per Entry Fee – $250.00
This event will feature a purse of $5,000.00 – $10,000.00 (depending on the number of teams competing), a Grand Champion payout of $1200, and a Reserve Champion payout of $700. In addition, the KCBS competition will award cash prizes for the top 10 placements in all four categories. The payouts for the KCBS competition are as follows:
1st Place – $250.00
2nd Place – $175.00
3rd Place – $100.00
4th Place – $75.00
5th Place – $50.00
6th – 10th Place – $25.00
