This is a State Championship.
Categories are Brisket, Pork, Ribs, Chicken and Mac N’ Cheese.
To be eligible for the grand prize, you must compete in the four main categories.
Saturday
12:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Enjoy Vendors, Live Entertainment, Craft Brews, and sample BBQ & Mac ‘N Cheese from competitors*
12:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Live Entertainment: Inner Limits
3:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Live Entertainment: Lloyd Tolbert Band
Sunday
12:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Enjoy Vendors, Live Entertainment, Craft Brews, and sample BBQ & Mac ‘N Cheese from competitors
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Live Entertainment: Lloyd Tolbert Band
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Live Entertainment: Inner Limits
2:00 PM – Jim Monihan Mac ‘N Cheese Challenge
4:00 PM – Awards Ceremony – $15,00 in prize money will be awarded to KCBS BBQ competitors, Mac ‘N Cheese winners will be announced!
Entry Fees
Per Entry Fee – $300.00/Team
On Sunday at 4:00 PM in the Event Tent, we will be awarding over $15,000 in prize money!
The competition pays the top 10 places in each of the four base categories (chicken, pork ribs, pork and brisket) as well as a bonus for the Grand champion, Reserve Grand Champion and Third Runner Up.
For the Mac N’ Cheese Challenge, the first place winner will receive $350, second place will receive $100 and third place will receive $50.
