Tentative Timeline – August 19, 2022
Noon-5PM: Cook team check-in, meat inspection will be done at check-in
6:00PM: Raider Rumble
7:00PM: KCBS cook’s meeting in Meat Lab 100
7:00PM: Sponsor appreciation dinner & concert in Animal & Food Science Arena
11PM-7AM: Quiet time (nothing will be going on at this time)

8:00AM to 11:00AM BBQ Demo
10:30AM: KCBS Judge’s meeting
Noon: KCBS Chicken turn-in
12:30PM: KCBS Ribs turn-in
1:00PM: KCBS Pork turn-in
1:30PM: KCBS Brisket turn-in
2:30PM: KCBS Steak turn-in
4:00PM: KCBS Awards
Teams may compete in one or all categories. Must be entered into all four categories (chicken, brisket, pork and ribs) to be considered for Grand Champion of Cook–off.
