General Information

REP YOUR CITY AND COMPETE AGAINST THE TOP BLACK BARTENDERS FROM ACROSS THE NATION LIVE IN CHICAGO FOR $5,000

Black Restaurant Week is partnering with Maker’s Mark to find the best black bartender in the nation. We are hosting our third annual national cocktail competition. Black Restaurant Week is challenging bartenders from across the nation to create a Maker’s Mark cocktail to Represent Your City that is one-of-a-kind and full-flavored just like the signature bourbon.

This year we are hosting the national competition live in Chicago. We are flying the top bartender from each city to Chicago for an all-star competition. Bartenders will be challenged to craft cocktails testing their flavor profiles and innovation. Cocktail recipes will be judged by our industry experts and audience to crown the best bartender in the nation.

Prizes / Awards / Medals / Ribbons

The top bartenders from each city will win a trip to Chicago to compete live for a chance to win $5,000.00, and the title of 2022 Best Bartender in the Nation.
