General Information
Competition – August 27, 2022
You MUST make 5 gallons of chili.
No ingredient may be pre-cooked in any way prior to the commencement of the official cook off. The only exceptions are: canned/bottled tomatoes, tomato sauce, peppers, pepper sauce, beverages, broth and grinding and/or mixing spices.
Meat must be in commercially sealed packing RAW and UNTREATED. MEAT MAY NOT BE PRE-COOKED, in any manner.
Juried chili will be judged based on CASI rules for consistency, taste, color, aroma & aftertaste.
Entry Fees
Per Entry Fee – $25.00
AWARDS – Cash prizes will be announced for juried judging.
1st, 2nd & 3rd place trophies will be on display at the event for both juried judging and People’s Choice.
