Competition Dates – October 7-9, 2022
This is the ultimate fall festival. This event is so much more than JUST a fall festival or a backyard BBQ duel, it’s a Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS) sanctioned four-meat Master Series State BBQ Championship (on Saturday) and a Pacific Northwest BBQ Association (PNWBA) sanctioned four-meat State BBQ Championship (on Sunday). Which means it has the potential for being TWO Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational Barbecue (draws) and American Royal Invitational Qualifiers, as well as a Team of the Year (ToY) event for KCBS and PNWBA.

For each of the 4 meat categories the prize payout is as follows:
1st place – $550.00
2nd place – $500.00
3rd place – $450.00
4th place – $400.00
5th place – $350.00
6th place – $300.00
7th place – $250.00
8th place – $200.00
9th place – $150.00
10th place – $100.00
Each category payout = $3,250.00
x 4 categories = $13,000.00
Overall category:
3rd place overall – $250.00
Reserve Grand Champion – $500.00
Grand Champion – $1,250.00
Overall category payout = $2,000.00
