Winners Announced – December 5, 2022
Assignment – We’re talking music. Flashing lights. Smoke machines. And of course, Doritos® dust. Doritos is almost ready to drop a (hypothetical) mixtape, the only thing is – we need an album cover. Something totally iconic and original. So, if you think you’ve got the design that will take us to a theoretical platinum – you know what to do. Don’t forget if we like what you submit, you’ll get some sweet $$$ too.
Objective -Really what the Doritos team is looking for are some epic album cover designs, with eye catching and bold records sure to make anyone do a double take. They should be Doritos inspired and not reference or imitate any designs.
Submissions will be invalidated if they contain any intellectual property that images Doritos does not have rights to, such as visible third-party logos, copyrighted designs (think Fender Stratocaster, or Nike Jordans), images or music that requires licensing etc. or intellectual property, music rights, etc. If your item is selected, we may ask for more information to help us understand the inspiration for the design.
Deliverable(s) – Stills that can live on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Images must be submitted as .jpg or .png, and files can’t exceed 100 MB.
Must match platform specs: Instagram/Facebook/Twitter – 1:1
Creative expectations: Content should match the guidelines laid out in the Legion Handbook. (i.e., make sure colors, fonts and brand tone match), where you can also find the latest bag images.
Max submissions: No more than three (3)
