Competition Dates – October 7-8, 2022
This is a State Championship.
Timeline
Set up – 12:00PM to 7:00PM Friday (Early arrivals by appt.)
Chef’s Meeting – 5:00PM Friday
Turn-In – 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after Official time. (No exceptions)
Turn-In Times
12:00PM – Chicken
12:30PM – Pork Ribs
1:00PM – Pork
1:30PM – Beef Brisket
No cooking or seasoning meat before inspection.
Turn in containers will be provided.
Judging will be based on appearance, taste and tenderness. (Six samples required per entry)
Entry Fees
Per Entry Fee – $200.00
Prize Money – $5,100.00
Prizes will be given to First Five Places, Grand Champion, and Reserve Grand Champion.
Prizes will be awarded at 4:30 p.m. at the Gazebo.
