2021 National Festival of Breads

General Information

The Contest entry begins at 12:00 AM Central Standard Time (“CST”) on January 8, 2021.

Contest is open to ADULT home bakers, 19 years of age and older, and YOUTH home bakers 14 to 18 years of age at the time of contest entry, and must be a legal United States resident residing in one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. No teams or groups will be permitted.

Adult Division – Individuals who are amateur home yeast bread bakers and do not make the major portion of their income by baking bread may enter.

Youth Division – Individuals who are beginner home yeast bread bakers.

As part of the entry process, recipes MUST be marked on the entry form which Division they are entering, based on qualifications of the Entrant. Determination of a contestant’s status rests solely with the Sponsors.

Submit your original recipe and photo at: www.nationalfestivalofbreads.com. You may enter multiple recipes; however, each Entry must be different. You cannot resubmit a recipe with changes after it has been submitted. You will only be eligible to become a Category Winner with one recipe.

Recipe will be disqualified if the type of KING ARTHUR® FLOUR and RED STAR® YEAST is not stated in the recipe.

Adult Prizes (3) – Each Category ($2,000.00 Baking Bundle)

Best of Breads Champion – (1) ($500.00 Gift Card plus Flour plus Yeast)

Youth Prizes (2) – ($500 plus Baking Bundle)

People’s Choice (3) Adult Category – Bakeware
People’s Choice (2) Youth Category – Bakeware

Category Winners’ recipe and bread photo will be displayed for Online Voting at NationalFestivalofBreads.com between the dates of May 14 – May 25, 2021. The public may vote online once per valid email address. One (1) YOUTH and (1) ADULT “People’s Choice” award
