Spending time together is what most families treasure. It can be as simple as just sitting on the porch enjoying each others company.

This year, we are taking that idea and going one step further for our recipe contest – “Supper on the Porch.” It can be an appetizer, entree, side dish, dessert, or even your favorite beverage – best enjoyed when sitting on the porch.

Please remember, one recipe per reader – more than one, will disqualify all. We also ask when you send in your entry, make sure you include measurements with your ingredients as well as complete instructions on making that favorite recipe. Be sure and write clearly – if we can’t read it, we can’t test it. Originality counts – no recipes from a published cookbook or internet website, please.
