General Information

Most of the wine consumed at home is primarily purchased by women. But as a winemaker, how do you know which wine she will choose? One way is to enter your wine in the International Women’s Wine Competition, judged entirely by wine industry professional women.

Expert opinions can boost sales and judges’ decisions may directly influence female wine buyers. Judges include wine-based traditional media and social media experts who know how to get the word out about the wines they like. Aside from judging wines on their own merit made by both men and women, a special award will be given to the Best Woman Winemaker based on wines made just by women.

Entry Fees

Per Entry Fee – online: $70.00, offline (paper): $75.00 (Now thru April 25, 2021)
Per Entry Fee – online: $75.00, offline (paper): $80.00 (April 26, 2021 thru May 1, 2021)

Wine shipments must arrive at Express Wine Delivery by May 1, 2021 Clearly mark boxes on all sides for “2020 International Women’s Wine Competition”. Please ship four (4) (750 ml. or equivalent) bottles per wine type entered. Ship wine to:

Award for Best Woman Winemaker
If your winery has a woman winemaker, be sure to note it at time of entry. Aside from judging wines on their own merit made by both men and women, a special award will be given to the Best Woman Winemaker based on wines made just by women.
