The Brewers of South Suburbia invite you to participate in the 30th Annual Charlie Orr Memorial Chicago Cup Challenge home brewing competition, which is the longest continuously running home brewing competition in the greater Chicago area.
This competition is AHA/BJCP sanctioned and open to any amateur homebrewer age 21 or older. We are using the 2015 BJCP Style Guidelines for this competition. All shipped entries must be received at the ship-to location by the entry deadline, no exceptions! Please allow for shipping time.

Entry bottles accepted from Sunday, October 10, 2021 8:00 AM, CDT through Friday, October 29, 2021 5:00 PM, CDT.
Awards
Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category/table.
The 1st place entry in each category will advance to the Best of Show (BOS) round with a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall Best of Show beer selected.
Additional prizes may be awarded to those winners present at the awards ceremony at the discretion of the competition organizers.
Score sheets will be scanned and posted to the competition web site. Prizes will be mailed to winners.
Best of Show
The Brewers Of South Suburbia is pleased to announce that we have many Gold Medal Breweries participating in the 2021 Charlie Orr Memorial Chicago Cup Challenge. The brewers at these fine establishments will each select a gold medal winning beer from our 2021 competition to scale up and brew at their brewery (with the home brewer’s help whenever possible).
Thus, some very lucky gold medal winning home brewers will get to brew their beer at one of the following commercial breweries
– Evil Horse Brewing Company
– Hailstorm Brewing Company
This is a huge honor and a lot of fun to do as a home brewer!
