General Information
The public stout tasting is comprised of the brewers who have performed the best in the Stout Bout homebrew competition. Our gracious hosts, Baerlic Brewing, help us celebrate these local legends in back of their brewery every February. This year’s free public tasting takes place on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 2-5pm at Baerlic Brewing.
Come try a dozen or more homebrewed stouts FOR FREE! Enter our raffle, enjoy some of Baerlic’s offerings, and warm up on a cold February Saturday afternoon with us.
Brewers submitting entries to this event will be eligible for Oregon State Homebrewer of the Year (OSHBOTY) points for the calendar year 2020.

Entry bottles accepted at our drop-off locations from Wednesday, January 1, 2020 12:00 AM, PST through Friday, January 17, 2020 8:00 PM, PST.
Please pay attention to the notes provided for each drop-off location. There could be earlier deadlines for some drop-off locations listed, particular hours when entries are accepted, certain individuals to leave your entries with, etc. All entrants are responsible for reading the information provided by the organizers for each drop-off location.
AWARDS
The awards ceremony will take place on the weekend following judging (1/25/19 @ 2pm, Baerlic Brewing).
There will also be a free public stout tasting, so please reserve beer for that if you intend to participate if you are selected.
Places will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category/table, and honorable mention if necessary.
The 1st place entry in each category will advance to the Best of Show (BOS) round with a single, overall Best of Show beer selected.
Additional prizes may be awarded to those winners present at the awards ceremony at the discretion of the competition organizers.
Both score sheets and awards will be available for pick up that night after the ceremony concludes. Awards and score sheets not picked up will be uploaded to the website for participants to download for themselves. Results will be posted to the competition web site after the ceremony concludes.
