General Information
This competition is AHA/BJCP sanctioned and open to any amateur homebrewer age 21 or older.
All entries must be handcrafted products, containing ingredients available to the general public, and made using private equipment by hobbyist brewers (i.e., no use of commercial facilities or Brew on Premises operations, supplies, etc.).
Entry Fees
Per Entry Fee – $8.00
Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category based on judging; additional medals for co-brewers may be purchased for $10 per medal plus $3.50 shipping per location by contacting the organizer.
A minimum score of 28 is required to earn a medal. Places are awarded at the discretion of the judges. Each entry is entitled to one medal; for entries brewed by multiple brewers, additional medals may be purchased.
The 1st place entry in each category will advance to the Best of Show (BOS) round. Highly-qualified BJCP judges will sample all gold medal beers and select one Best of Show winner based on beer quality, stylistic accuracy and overall drinking pleasure.
